The Kitchen Beautician: Easy DIY Beauty Ideas

Hi lovelies! Is it just me, or has winter seriously overstayed its welcome this year? Being a midwest girl, these past few months I have literally been living in a snow globe, and it needs to stop. Thankfully, spring is just around the corner! So while we're still stuck in the house waiting for the arrival of some sunshine, let's whip up some DIY beauty products to prepare our body, hair, and face for warmer weather!

Just a quick disclaimer, I have gathered these beauty recipes from some of my favorite sites. They have all been tried and tested by me, but they are not my ideas. Therefore, I will not provide the recipe on this page. If you click on the recipe name, you will be sent straight to the source

Now let's begin, shall we?

These DIY bath bombs are the perfect dupe for Lush! Throw a few of them in a cute little bag with a bow, and you've got an adorable gift.

This two-ingredient recipe takes minimal effort with huge results! After applying the conditioner, you'll immediately notice softer, shinier hair.

There are so many different face scrub recipes out there, sometimes it's hard to identify which one is right for you. This lovely post takes all the guesswork out with these five natural face scrubs that all target different issues. With so many options, you're bound to find the perfect scrub for your skin!

Want to lighten up your color without spending hours at the salon? This DIY lightening spray is not only super effective and affordable to make, but it also smells amazing!

This incredible mask is loaded with kitchen ingredients that double as skin-saving remedies. If you're looking for a product that fights aging, moisturizes, and brightens, you've found it here.

So I'll be honest, this recipe takes a little more effort than some of the others to get right. However, it is completely worth it knowing the makeup you put on your face each day is free of scary chemicals.

This yummy exfoliator sloughs off dead skin, leaving you with absolutely glowing results. And the best part is, all the ingredients can be found right in your kitchen!

If you're a victim of mega-drying polar vortex like I am, you need to try this moisturizing mask! It works wonders for both hair and skin, leaving you hydrated and smooth from head to toe.

I hope you've found some DIY beauty inspiration! Please feel free to share how these ideas worked for you in the comments down below, or share other recipes you love!
