Hi lovelies! Let me just start off this post with a disclaimer: There are two types of people in this world. Those that roll their eyes at Christmas music any time before December, and those that start setting up their tree the second the clock strikes midnight on November 1st. I am the latter. Christmas is my favorite time of the year, and I like to stretch out those warm and fuzzy feelings as long as possible.

I'm lucky enough to be entering my second year of university this year, and I know what it's like being a broke college student. When the exchange rate between your home country and the US is 6:1, broke becomes your middle name. That being said, I can't afford expensive accessories and decorations for my dorm room, and I've been forced to be creative. Dorm rooms can be boring. This is the place you eat, sleep, study and just hang out in all day every day for nine months out of the year, so sprucing it up is recommended, but managing to do it without spending big money is the challenge. Hello lovelies! As I've already talked about in my post on the best websites to shop for home decor, I'm a little decorating obsessed lately! I'll be moving into my first apartment this Fall, and I really want to fill it with pretty things that will inspire me and make the place feel like home. So I decided to make a list of all the DIY projects I plan on making for my apartment! These ideas are all super easy to make, because to be quite honest I am not the most patient or DIY-saavy person in the world and these are about all I can handle. If you couldn't tell already, you'll know by the end of this post that I really love all things bright and sparkly!

I have been absolutely overwhelmed and amazed by the popularity of my first DIY Beauty post. I just love that you guys love natural, chemical-free beauty recipes as much as I do! Sure, it may take a little extra effort to track down all the ingredients and mix them together. However, the results make them more than worth it! Plus, most of these ideas can be made for a fraction of the cost compared to their drugstore counterparts!

I just want to make a quick disclaimer that none of the recipes you'll find below are my original ideas. I've just discovered them throughout the past few months and tried them out to make sure they work as well as they claim to! My Favorite DIY Beauty Ideas!

Am I the only one who gets way more excited than I should over products I can make with stuff I already have in my house? I mean, how awesome is it that you can just grab some olive oil or brown sugar out of your cabinet, mix a few things together, and then- BAM! A super useful (and cheap) beauty find!
